With Battlefield 1942 being the first official Battlefield Game, Battlefield 2042 marks their 100-year progress since the first game. As an appreciation for the series, the company is named Centennial to celebrate a century of progress, with the logomark C being a reference to the roman numeral C for 100. One major quality that Battlefield has that separates it from other FPS games is its maneuverability in the form of vehicles, and Centennial pushes that in the form of personalized kinetic gadgets.
